Charles T. Lubrecht: Lithographier, Publisher 48’er

Karl Theobold Lubrecht escaped to Switzerland during the 1848 Revolution in Germany. Once in Brooklyn, NY during the Civil War he became a graphic artist who chronicled Gilded Age and the Civil War Events.
